AUDI DESIGN (NOT CARS)
While Porsche Design Studio has made a name for itself designing not-cars, Audi Design Studio has quietly been working on some products of their own. These two recent additions to the studio´s stable are creating a significant buzz online.
This piano was a collaboration with piano-maker Bösendorfer and designed to retain the unmatched acoustics of a classical grand piano, with some updated design flourishes (like the pedals).

Secondly, Audi recently asked German design students at Joanneum University to create a sailboat using the car company’s design motifs. The goal of the company was to make a “brand beyond the car” with styling cues that could ultimately filter back to the cars.
