New Shop at the Standard Hotel, NYC
The Standard, New York, has just opened its latest addition… The Shop! The shop is home to a number of interesting Standard branded items including their Quicksilver boardshorts, grafitti-artist designed t-shirts, and the new limited edition apple porcelin sculptures by Julia Chiang.
Additionally, the shop is home to the expected magazines and must-haves for hotel guests.

Nike Harajuku
Nike has just opened its flagship in the dynamic fashion Tokyo fashion capital of Harajuku. With Wonderwall contributing to the interior design, and special appearances by some high-profile names including Daisuke Matsuzaka (Red Sox pitcher), the November 14 opening was quite the crowd pleaser. With Nike getting bigger and bigger in the streetwear category, it should come as no surprise that the would choose Harajuku for their latest flagship.

Apple Store in the Louvre
Apple now invading the space below I.M. Pei´s glass pyramid at Paris´s Louvre museum. On saturday, the first Parisian outpost for Apple opened with great fanfare.
This is Apple’s 277th store, worldwide and is said to be slightly smaller than the one on Oxford Circus in London. The bilevel store will employ 150 people and you can expect the place to be very crowded as the Louvre concourse is one of the most heavily trafficked places in Paris. This location links all of the wings of the Louvre, and visitors to the museum have to pass by before entering the museum.

Wonderwall makes a crazy new website!
Wonderwall, the current hip demigods of retail and food interior, headed by Masamichi Katayama and based in Toyko. They have been responsible for shops by APC, Bape, Colette, Uniqlo, Fred Perry, and more… From SlamXHype “Using Flash and bending it to their will they have created a virtual store where you can shop and browse through A Bathing Ape products, A.P.C homme store, Dean & Deluca Cafe, Original Fake, Beams, colette Window Installations, Marc Jacobs, Rat Hole Gallery and the list goeson! Certainly the way in which this digital world is heading, it can take the joy out of the real life experience but this online experience is actually quite amazing! You simply click on the square you want to visit and the it opens into a large, colorful square and then a big arrow points you in the direction to go. ”

Painted flowers
How do you show that a paint manufacturer (Boyson) cares for the environment? By collaborating with TBWA advertising agency, they went back to the basic ‘nature’ and combined it with the product paint. The flowers are paint splashes magnified and composited to make them resemble flowers.

shop at the supermarket during London fashion week
The Supermarket wall of Supermarket Sarah is during the fashion week in London especially designed by the London designer Fred Butlar. The items sold are designed or chosen by Fred Butlar and are used in music videos for The Gossip, Lady Sovereign, Little Boots and most recently La Roux. With all these items she created a beautiful, attractive and colorful wall and boosts the fashion addicts to go vintage shopping after the new collection shows!
