LOUIS VUITTON CELEBRATES APOLLO 11
July 20th marks the 40th anniversary of the first Moon landing and Louis Vuitton is celebrating by releasing this limited “Malle Mars” trunk. The retro but space-age piece opens a number of ways with a variety of drawers and compartments. Hypebeast reports, “the trunk will be on display this coming Monday, at the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History, being exhibited with other NASA memorabilia. History-making astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Jim Lovell and Sally Ride will be in attendance along with Louis Vuitton North America president and chief executive officer Daniel Lalonde.”
